Country Themed Disco / Birds of Prey / Competitions / Free parking at The Pub.

FRIDAY 23rd June

CIDER Festival opens at 5pm (Pub open usual hours). over 25 Ciders to choose from along with delicious choice of sausages & hot dogs.

LIVE MUSIC 8pm - LATE with 'THE RUM DOGS ' - A pack of rovers squeezing musical joy out of double bass, guitar, harmonica and percussion: Funk & folk performed with humour and passion.

SATURDAY 24th June

11am CIDER FESTIVAL open all day with ciders served from our Roosters events room - lots of space including our outdoor marquee Lots of delicious sausages & hotdogs available all day.

12.30 pm Meet Alexs' BIRDS OF PREY

Get close up and personal with Alexs’ Owls and Hawks. Learn all about these amazing creatures with opportunity for a polaroid picture taken with them in an entertaining and informative afternoon slot.

2 pm SAUSAGE EATING contest 2pm arrival: Fancy yourself a fast eater? Race other contestants to see who can down a 1m long sausage the fastest. £10 entry for all competitors, prizes up for grabs! Pre-Booking preferred - 01362 693393 / enquire@the-cock.co.uk

3pm Live Music with BIG BLACK CADILAC - Rockabilly music and fun with this excellent band

8pm - DISCO - Themed Night: Country Hoedown

As a traditional drink Cider evokes images of country living , good times and a knees up - so come along and join the fun with our amazing DJ and dress up & let loose county style! We'll also have Cider Cocktails, Decorations and Prizes for best dressed!

SUNDAY 25th June

Cider Festival continues with great choice of ciders plus delicious sausages & hotdogs available all day.

About the Festival

This year our CIDER FESTIVAL is held here at The Cock.

This is a free to attend event
Families welcome. After 8pm its adults only
The pub will be open as usual with all Ciders being served from a dedicated bar our Roosters events room.
Our outside beer garden now has a raised stage area - so, weather permitting, bands can play outside.
We'll have our large marquee erected at the back of the pub (i.e. in the Cowper Road car park) - this will provide extra seating in a barn style atmosphere.
We'll be serving our selection of BBQ'd British sausages from inside our Marquee
Country Hoedown Disco will be held in our darts room (where we hold all disco's) - our usual DJ will no doubt do a great job with excellent musical choices and fantastic lighting.
